In 2007, a group of Viennese students founded IG Wien with a mission to bring fresh energy and critical perspectives to the European Forum Alpbach, offering scholarships to young and critical-minded individuals from Vienna. Over the years, this vibrant community has continued to make its voice heard.

Looking back on the past 15 years, the community reflects with pride and joy on its accomplishments. Important initiatives, campaigns, social enterprises, and foundations have emerged from IG Wien’s sphere, continually shaping and evolving its spirited approach.

It was a true privilege to capture the anniversary celebration, commemorating this dynamic legacy through my lens.
